SHOW HOURS: Check-In Saturday 7:30-8:30 AM, Show hours for exhibitors are 9 AM - 4 PM.  Check-in Sunday is 8:30, show hours 9:30 am - 4 pm.  If you need to leave early, please contact show management. Open to the public 

FOOD:  There will be food available for purchase through on-site cafe.  

SHOW CATALOGS: Electronic catalogs will be emailed by Thursday. The electronic catalog will be sent to the email address you have registered in TOES.    Printed show catalog must be requested before show closes and prepaid cost of ($15). Enter in the note section of TOES and on the summary sheet.  Or email the entry clerk before the show closes.   We will NOT have extra hard copy catalogs for sale at the show.

All entry and miscellaneous fees are due and payable to Emerald City Cat Fanciers within 72 hours of submission of entry:

CHECK IN: Check in will be from 7:30-8:30 on Saturday and Sunday with judging beginning promptly at 9 am both days. We will break for lunch at noon each day. Public show hours are from 9 until 4 both days.  

BENCHING: All exhibitors will have assigned benching. Benching requests MUST be clearly indicated on the summary sheets, and we will try to accommodate all requests. No one may change their benching without permission from the entry clerk. No one may leave before the advertised show hours without permission of the Show Management.

FOR SALE: Cats and kittens for sale will be permitted. Cages are restricted to one cat or two kittens per 1/2 cage for the weekend. Once that animal is sold you may not place another animal for sale into that cage without paying the appropriate fees. Cats and kittens may not be stored in kennels or carriers. Kittens must be 3 months of age and have evidence of litter registration in TICA. 

**Please be aware that you MAY NOT place your grooming tables, coolers, etc. at the end of aisle BECAUSE OF FIRE LAWS, the layout design and traffic flow. Those wishing end of aisle must follow this rule. We suggest those needing additional space request a grooming space on the Summary Sheet. 

Supplies: Litter will be provided in the show hall ONLY. Please bring your own litter trays. 

CLERKS & STEWARDS: Please indicate in the notes section when you enter using TOES, along with any judge preference. Clerks $40 per day, Preference will be given to licensed clerks in the clerking program. Stewards will be provided. If you decide after entering, send the entry clerk an email, and cc the show manager.

VENDORS: Nancy Welch at 206-937-9611 to sign up or for further info. Cost is $60 per space + donation of a new item of value of at least $20 for the club's raffle. This cost is for a 10x10 space. Table is $10 and one chair is included.

SHOW RULES: TICA show rules will be strictly enforced. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and show committee. Declawed cats are only allowed for entry pursuant to TICA Show Rule 23.5 (allowed for household pet or household pet kitten entries or if proof is submitted with entry that the declawing occurred prior to May 1, 2020, and that same cat was shown prior to the rule change on May 1, 2020).

REGISTRATION: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional / International awards, all cats (other than household pet kittens) must be registered by their second show. AWARDS: Plaques will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules

HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The Club will follow all government-mandated health and safety guidelines in effect on the show dates. At the time of entry, you must agree to follow all health & safety precautions in effect for this event, as well as all show rules. Anyone not complying with these will be required to leave the show without refund of any monies paid.

PUBLIC SHOW HOURS

Posted Show Hours are 9-4 both days. The hall will open at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for check-in and set up and at 8:00 am on Sunday. No exhibitors may enter the show hall before the posted check-in hours. Cats not checked-in and in the show hall by the start of judging will be marked absent. All cats must be present during advertised show hours unless granted permission to leave by the show manager.

SHOW CAGES 

Per TICA rules, only one cat or two kittens will be allowed per single cage, and two cats or four kittens per double cage. A single cage is 21" tall, 21" deep, and 21" wide. A double cage is 21" tall, 21" deep, and 45" wide. Bring curtains, a sheet or other fabric to cover the top, floor, sides, and back of the cage.

PERSONAL CAGES

There will be no single cage spaces for this show. Your personal cage must fit our benching space.  If your personal cage is longer than 45", you must purchase a groom space. See Summary Sheet. If your personal cage is deeper than 21", it can not be used. Please indicate on the Summary Sheet if you will be bringing your own cage(s). The club has double wire cages only, with a divider in the middle.

EXHIBITION AND FOR SALE CAGES

Due to lack of space in this show hall, exhibition/sale cages are not available for this show. However, we will offer exhibition only cages for those entering the litter match on Sunday. You may bring non-competing (ex/sale) entries ONLY if they fit into your existing cage space. The catalog will list all Exhibition and For Sale entries. You must complete an entry form for every kitten or cat for sale or on exhibition. Per TICA rules, no cat or kitten will be allowed in the benching area if it is not listed in the catalog. There will be absolutely no sales allowed from carriers. No cat or kitten may be confined to a carrier during show hours.

MINIMUM AGE FOR KITTENS

In order to be allowed in the show hall, kittens must be at least 3 calendar months of age (not 12 weeks). To be allowed in the show hall on Saturday, kittens must have been born on or before September 13, 2025; and to be allowed in the show hall on Sunday, born on or before September 14, 2025. These rules will be strictly enforced. Please be prepared to produce a copy of the litter registration.

GROOM SPACE

For this show, we are offering groom spaces on a space-available basis only. They are $50 and are the size of a double cage space -- 21" deep by 45" wide. If you need a groom space, you must purchase it and note it on the summary sheet. Due to fire regulations, no personal grooming tables will be allowed in the aisles.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: REGISTERED BREEDS 

For most registered breeds: With the exception of new breeds/traits, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show, but is required for the 2nd and subsequent shows, and for confirmation of championships and TICA regional and international awards. Contact TICA for specific registration procedures.

In order for a cat, kitten or alter to be shown without a registration number, it must be eligible for registration and competition in TICA in the class in which it is to be shown. You will need to provide proof of eligibility when you enter the cat. (More info here.)

ALL Preliminary New Breeds (PNB), Advanced New Breeds (ANB) and New Traits (NT) must have a TICA registration number prior to entry in any TICA show; no Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed or New Trait may enter a show with a "pending" TICA registration.

Kittens must be 4 calendar months (not 16 weeks) of age to be shown. To compete on Saturday, kittens must have been born on or before September 13, 2025; to compete on Sunday, kittens must have been born on or before September 14, 2025. To be allowed in the show hall, kittens must be at least 3 calendar months old (born on or before August 13, 2025 ).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: HOUSEHOLD PETS 

Household Pets from 4 to 8 months old are entered in the Household Pet Kitten class and can be either altered or unaltered. Household pet kittens must be 4 calendar months (not 16 weeks) of age to be shown. To compete on Saturday, kittens must have been born on or before September 13, 2025; to compete on Sunday, kittens must have been born on or before September 14, 2025. Household pet kittens or cats not entered for competition will not be allowed in the show hall unless part of a rescue organization's booth, and kittens must have been born on or before August 13, 2025 to be in the show hall. All Household Pets over 8 months of age must be altered (neutered or spayed). Please contact the entry clerk if you are not sure how to describe your cat's color, or if you have any questions about how to fill out the entry form. Registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the Household Pet classes, but is required for confirmation of championships and (if a Household Pet Adult) for TICA regional and international awards. Contact TICA for specific registration procedures.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Co-owned Cats  

Cats or kittens co-owned but living in different households are eligible for multi-cat discounts providing that a copy of the TICA registration showing both owners accompanies the entry. If you enter online, please either email, fax or mail a copy of the TICA registration to the entry clerk. Do not mail your original TICA registration form to the entry clerk.

HEALTH 

This is a non-vetted show. Every cat that enters the show hall must conform to normally accepted health requirements and be current on its vaccinations. Front and back claws must be clipped. Cats with suspected contagious or infectious illness or with parasites will be removed from the show hall. Cats from households with contagious or infectious illness within the last 21 days are ineligible for entry to this show. Cats entering Canada must have proof of current rabies vaccination.
